Jesus paid a precious price for our freedom from bondage. Many people for years have been locked up by their past. They have allowed satan to lie to them, to tell them that Jesus couldn’t love them and that they don’t have a right to be happy. I submit to you on the Authority of the Word of God that when Jesus sets you free, you are free!
I think one of the reasons that the Bible tells us over and over again to bear each others burdens, and to encourage each other is because Jesus understands how difficult it is to keep fighting satan and the world by ourselves. None of us are perfect. All of us have made and will make mistakes in our lives. We need to claim the precious Blood of Jesus for our liberty.
If you know someone who is hurting and feeling all alone in a situation, reach out and reassure him or her that Jesus does Love him or her. All of us have weak spots in our lives and we desperately need a friend to stand by us. We need a friend who will not judge, who will not assume a “holier than thou attitude”.
Jesus provided the Keys of freedom for us when He died on the Cross. It is through His Love, Grace, Mercy, and Understanding that we are set free from satan and the world. If you feel like you can’t do it alone, cry out to Jesus for help. He is the Only One Who can set a person free. We need to do our part by praying for and loving the person who is hurting. We need to be an encouragement to each other.
