I talked to a person at midnight last night whose heart was very heavy and hurting. The person said, “It hurts so badly”. I told the person to run to Jesus as He is the only One Who can get us through the storms of life. When all hell comes against us and everybody leaves us, Jesus will be with us. He is the only One Who will never leave us.
Our family, loved ones, and friends will fail us, just as we fail them because we are human, but Jesus never fails! He stands by us through the heartaches and hurts of this life. He takes our hand in His Precious Hand and walks beside us. He turns to us and gives us a big hug and tells us that He Loves us. What a Friend we have in Jesus!
O dear people, if you are hurting today, turn to Jesus because He will give you a Peace that you have never known. Many times He has put His Arms of Peace and Love around me and held me close to His Heart. He whispers in my ear, “I Love you, Joanne. You are precious to Me and I will carry you through the storms of life. I will never leave you or fail you. You can depend on Me because I Love you so much I died for you”.
Jesus never criticizes me; He encourages me to do better. We need to pattern ourselves after the Love of Jesus. Instead of criticizing one another, we need to encourage one another because all of us have weaknesses. All of us fail Him. Nobody is perfect. If we would ever accept that we are not better than someone else, I believe that we would start treating people as Jesus has told us to treat them.
