THERE’S STILL ROOM

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?”

Jesus just spoke to my heart and said “While I was hanging on the cross, I thought about every person in the world and every time I thought about another person another nail would pierce My heart”. The next time we are tempted to stop serving Jesus we need to remember that a nail pierced His heart for every one of us. If He could endure such agony and pain for us, then we have no excuse for not serving Him.

The Bible says that we are to take up our cross daily and follow Jesus. When Jesus was here on earth, He was ridiculed, scorned, criticized and doubted every day. For those of us who have committed our lives in full time service to Him, we will be criticized and ridiculed also but if Jesus endured such heartache for us then we should be willing to serve Him daily no matter what anyone thinks or says to us.

There is room for every person in the world in the heart of Jesus. He suffered and died for everyone, not just for a few people. He is waiting with His heart filled with love and compassion for you to come to Him. He is longing to put His arms around you and hold you close to His heart. When He puts His arms of forgiveness, understanding and unconditional love around you, He will never let you go. Invite Jesus into your heart to be your personal Saviour today before it is too late!
