What beautiful words, “Welcome Home”. My sister and brother-in-law are just returning from a trip and I sent them an email saying welcome home. I joined a church Sunday and the Pastor sent me an email saying, “Welcome Home”. I have been unable to attend church for over a year due to my arthritis and a dear pastor friend presented me before his congregation and they accepted me as a shut-in member.
One day, we will see Jesus holding the door open and He will say, “Welcome Home”. I long for that day when I see Jesus face to face. None of us have ever glimpsed even a little of the Beauty of the Mansions He has prepared for us.
You may have a big, beautiful house with all the extras and conveniences that man has made. However, none of that comes close to the Mansions that Jesus has prepared for us. If you are living in one of these beautiful homes, and don’t have Jesus in your heart, then you might as well be living in a dark cave.
It doesn’t matter what kind of house we live in on this earth because without Jesus everything is dark and meaningless. Do you have this Precious Jesus in your heart? Has there ever been a time when you said “yes” to the Christ of Calvary? If not, please don’t wait. None of us have the guarantee of even another minute.
