WHAT A PRIVILEGE

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”

John 12: 24 - 26 King James Version

I will be sixty four years old on July 7th and I am filled with joy and excitement because should Jesus tarry His coming back for us, I will have another year to serve Him. What a privilege and what an honor to be able to serve the one who loves me so much that He died for me. There is no one like Jesus! Hallelujah to His majestic name! All hail, King Jesus! Worthy is the Lamb of God! One glorious day, I will see Him face to face and I will give Him the biggest hug that anybody has ever received.

I am so happy right now that I literally feel like I’m going to explode in thousands of joyous pieces but at the same time, I stand in awe that the Saviour of the world would love me. I know that He loves all of you, but He loves me, Joanne Lowe. It is impossible to comprehend such love but I feel His love deep in my heart. It is like a beautiful river flowing with joy, peace, contentment, happiness, unconditional love, mercy, grace, kindness, understanding and protection constantly refreshing my heart.

A very dear friend of mine sent me a present and a beautiful birthday card for my birthday and signed the card “Love and Blessings”. That is exactly what God did for us the day that He gave us the most precious gift ever given, His beloved Son, Jesus. He sent His love and blessings through Jesus. One day, our Heavenly Father had compassion on us and opened His heart and sent His Son to be the first missionary and to give His life so that we may be saved. When our loving Saviour died on the cross that horrible day for us, He signed from His tender heart and with His own blood, I love you. What amazing unconditional love from the heart of Jesus!

If you want to have so much joy that you will feel like you are going to explode with happiness, start bragging on Jesus. The only time I am truly happy is when I am telling others about the unconditional love of Jesus. Are you serving Him today? If so, are you giving Him all of your time and talents or are you being selfish and keeping some of your time for yourself? Everything that we have belongs to Jesus. He paid a terrible price for us on the cross. It is not only a privilege to serve Jesus; it is an honor and joy. Thank You, Jesus, for the privilege to serve You. I love You with all of my heart and I thank You for all You have done for me.
