WHAT ARE YOU SOWING

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Galatians 6: 7 King James Version

We may fool other people, but we will never fool God. He sees into our hearts and knows our motives. He knows why we do things for people. He knows if we do them out of love, or out of duty. Everything we do for people should be done to make Jesus happy. Our words and actions should draw people to Him.

If we are being critical and judgmental of other people, they will also be critical and judgmental of us. If we are being kind and loving to our loved ones, they will be kind and loving to us. I used to think that my family and friends had to change their attitudes, but God convicted me and told me that I was the one who needed to change.

If you are constantly having conflict in your homes and on your jobs, ask Jesus if there is something you need to change in your heart. Give yourself a heart checkup and make sure that your words and actions are pleasing to Jesus. God does not want us to lay down and be a doormat for people to step on, but He does want us to act and speak out of love.

Are you sowing happiness and peace in your relationships with your family, loved ones and friends, or are you sowing discord and anger? Are you pointing others to Jesus with your actions and words? Does your family see the difference Jesus has made in your heart? Have you told your family, loved ones and friends that Jesus Loves them? Do they know that you love Jesus?
