The first Gift that was given was when God gave us His Son, Jesus. What Amazing Love and Compassion He showed to us that day! Today, I received an early Christmas present. An officer from my bank came to my home and gave me some groceries and said it was a Christmas present from the bank.
As you are out buying presents for your family, friends, and loved ones for Christmas, keep in mind that giving something practical like groceries is very wise. For people who are on Social Security, a gift certificate for groceries would be appreciated. There are young parents who would appreciate diapers as a gift. It is not necessary to spend hundreds of dollars to show the Love of Jesus.
Have you thought about what you are going to give Jesus for His Birthday present? It is wonderful to give money to missions and charity, but how about the rest of the year. We need to give Jesus something special every day of our lives. One of the greatest gifts we can give Him is our time.
Let’s spread the Love of Jesus to everyone and tell them how much Jesus Loves them. The real meaning of Christmas is the Love of Jesus. We don’t deserve this Love. We can never do anything good enough to repay this Love. This Love is a free Gift from God. Have you received the Gift of the Christ Child in your heart? If not, I encourage you to open your heart to Jesus and allow Him to change your heart.
