WHERE WERE YOU

"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."

Genesis 3: 7-10 King James Version

I slept later than usual this morning and I heard Baby, my parakeet, talking away. When I uncovered her cage and opened her door, before I had a chance to even say anything to her she came down and sat on the opening to the door and looked right at me. I believe if she could have talked she would have said, "Where were you?"

That same question was asked of Adam because he did not meet God that morning. He knew that he had done something wrong and was afraid of what God was going to do and say. You and I do the same thing in our daily lives.

Jesus is waiting for us every morning because He wants to hug us and tell us how much He Loves us, yet many times we don’t meet Him because we know that we have done something that will make Him upset.

We need to realize that when we don’t meet Jesus in the morning, not only do we miss out on our blessing, we hurt Him. If you are a parent, then you know when your children stop talking to you it hurts you. Meet Jesus in the morning and you will have a better day and make Him happy.
