My parakeet flew out the door this morning because I didn’t have a chance to catch her. My heart is hurting right now, but I trust Jesus to take care of her. God used her to teach me about real Forgiveness and Unconditional Love. Even when I got exasperated with her, and would scold her, she always forgave me and started chirping when I told her that I was sorry for getting upset with her. She loved me no matter what I did. Truly she was an example of the Love of Jesus for us.
If today you are feeling lonely, depressed, suicidal, or hurting, Jesus is telling you that you are of more value than many sparrows. If He takes care of the birds, how much more will He take care of us. He Loves us with a Love that we can’t possibly understand. He Loves us even when we fail Him so many times.
Yes, you are of great value to Jesus. You are very precious to Him. He cares about you and understands all of your heartaches and tears. He sees the tears that you shed in your heart and He longs to kiss them away.
I urge you today to open your heart to the only One Who can set you free from the pain of the past, the sadness of today, and the fear of the future. Jesus is waiting with His Arms open for you to run into them. He longs to Comfort you and give you Peace, His Peace, the Peace that nobody or nothing can take away.
