Jesus, I’m not asking You for anything this time, I just want to talk to You. As I walked through my home last night, I saw Your love and care everywhere. The walls are stained and need painting but the walls of my heart are painted with Your precious atoning blood.
When I look at the Christmas tree and see the beautiful lights, I’m reminded of the lights of love, forgiveness, hope, mercy and tenderness that sparkle in my heart because one glorious day You forgave my sins and came into my heart to be my personal Saviour. Thank You so much for caring about me and for loving me when nobody else did.
I get so frustrated because I can’t put into words how much I love You. However, I know that You can see into my heart and You know how grateful I am to You for all You have done for me. You are indeed the beautiful Rose of Sharon, the bright and morning star, the fairest of ten thousand, the lily of the valley and my faithful companion. You are so wonderful, Jesus!
You laugh with me when I’m happy and weep with me with I am sad. There is no one like You! No one loves like You do. You are the best friend I will ever have. You never leave me, not even for a minute. I never have to make an appointment to talk to You and You are never too busy to listen to me. You have tender eyes and a compassionate heart. How I long to put my arms around You and give You a big hug. I pray that You will have the greatest birthday celebration this year than You have ever had.
